How do I prevent the device from rebooting over and over again, when connecting with the serial console? I've just watched this video, so just out of curiosity, since all network adapter LEDs flash every 10 - 15 seconds, which probably means that the device is rebooting over and over again. Thanks for the fast response, I've just ordered a ttl adapter at Amazon. When I try to telnet into the device, which is possible for a few seconds after plugging in the power cable, telnet goes away.ĭD-WRT v24-sp2 mini (c) 2012 NewMedia-NET GmbHĭD-WRT login: Connection closed by foreign host.

I have tried to install the DD-WRT firmware again with the same result as above. Eventhough the TFTP2 tool keeps telling me, that the new firmware has successfully been installed, the originally installed DD-WRT firmware is still alive.

Problem as described above still persists, even after severeal resetting attempts and leaving it alone for severeal hours. I have tried to restore the Linksys firmware using the TFTP2 tool, result: Reply from 192.168.1.101: Destination host unreachable. Even WiFi is accessible for a couple of seconds. Even though I get ping replies, everything else seems to be broken. I got a problem with my Linksys Cisco E2500 device, after successfully installing the correct DD-WRT Firmware (according to the wiki, peacock thread etc.), my router seems to reboot over and over again.
